Soul scene, pass4sure 642-661 Michael brings both sides of the Atlantic into his collecting and dj'ing. He began dj'ing soul in the now distant (to us young 'uns) year pass4sure NS0-153 of 1983, here in NY he was the musical mainstay of the original line-up of pass4sure 650-251 Shout!, plus regular Friday nights at the very-missed Barmacy, now you'll know him from both soul nights such as ours and adding in not just soul but heavy funk pass4sure 646-656 and garage rarities from the 4 corners of the globe at Smashed!Blocked! Across in Europe this year he's headlined the Lost in Venice mod rally in Italy and been flown over to Barcelona and La Rochelle in France for soul weekenders. Along with DJ Honky he also runs the 'Dig Deeper' soul night in Forte Green ( see NYC Nightlife page ).

Mop Top Mike loves to tote a pile of danceable 45s to pass4sure 350-030 venues on both coasts; San Francisco at the famed " Diabolik' 60's nights and in LA guesting on the pass4sure 642-832 decks as part of the Club Au Go Go dance bashes. Mop Top's tastes have not changed since those golden days of finding cool obscure 45s for under $1. pass4sure SY0-201 He digs nearly anything from the 60's ; garage, Eurobeat, surf, pop but especially 60's soul.
In NYC, he has spun at numerous Subway soul Clubs and he tells us it's still his 'fave shindig for spinning 100% soul sounds'. How nice!
